I’ve Been in Your Shoes
In 2020, I founded a food manufacturing company from the ground up in Barcelona. My vision was simple: to bring authentic American food to Europe, made with healthy ingredients. We grew fast—faster than I could have imagined. Within three years, we had a team of 30 people, were selling our products across Europe, and had surpassed €3 million in annual revenue. On paper, it was the perfect entrepreneurial story.
But behind the numbers, I was living in "firefighter mode." My days were a blur of solving problems, finding reliable customers, rebuilding the team for the next stage of growth, and navigating a complex web of suppliers and partners. My phone was on 24/7. I worked every single day.
Finding a Better Way
I'll never forget the nights spent lying awake, staring at the ceiling, asking myself the same question over and over: "How can I build a company that is more efficient and less dependent on me?"
That question sparked a new obsession. I knew that brute force and long hours weren't the answer. I dove into business frameworks, reading books on business frameworks and having joined Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), surrounding myself with other founders who were facing the same challenges.
